This elegant pair of Spiller Rancher spurs sold in the live auction at the 6th annual benefit auction for the Women's Protective Service of Lubbock on June 14, 2008, featuring twenty top Texas-style spurmakers. The spurs intricate scrolls in sterling silver and extensive hand-crafting in the rowels on a pair of spurs stout enough for daily ranch use, sets Spiller's work apart from most contemporary makers.
